Mr. Fleming is a Partner with the Firm, focusing his practice on civil litigation.  His primary areas are insurance defense, employment and commercial litigation. 

A native of Panama City, Florida, Mr. Fleming earned his B.A. from Duke University and his Juris Doctor from Florida State University’s College of Law with high honors.  While at the College of Law, he was inducted into the Order of the Coif.

Before moving home to Panama City and joining the Firm, Mr. Fleming practiced law in Tallahassee.  He is a member of both the Florida Bar (Business Law and Trial Lawyers sections) and the Federal Bar of the Northern District of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeal.  In 2008, he was elected as one of Florida Trend Magazine’s “Legal Elite Up and Comers.”  This statewide recognition is awarded annually to fewer than 2% of Florida lawyers.  In 2009, Mr. Fleming was appointed to the 14th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission, where he currently serves as Vice Chairman.  Mr. Fleming is also a member of the American Bar Association (Section of Litigation), Defense Research Institute, Florida Defense Lawyers Association and St. Andrews Bay American Inn of Court.
