Franklin R. Harrison is a Founding Partner with the Firm. His primary areas of practice are real estate, business and education law. Mr. Harrison heads the Firm’s real estate department.

Mr. Harrison earned both his J.D. and undergraduate degrees from the University of Florida, where he was elected President of Florida Blue Key.

Mr. Harrison has served as Chairman of the Bay County Economic Development Alliance, Chairman of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce, President of the Florida School Board Attorney’s Association, President of the Bay County Bar Association, and as a member of the 14th Judicial Circuit Nominating Commission. He is an emeritus member and former Chairman of the Florida Board of Bar Examiners.

He now serves as a Trustee on the National Conference of Bar Examiners and as a member of the MBE Policy Committee. Mr. Harrison is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation; a member of the Council of School Attorneys of the National School Boards Association; the Education Law Section of the Florida Bar; and the Education Law Association. He is admitted to practice in Florida and the federal courts in the Northern District of Florida. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar, and St. Andrews Bay American Inns of Court. In addition to his real estate work Mr. Harrison serves as the Board Attorney for the School Board of Bay County, a position he has held since 1979. The Florida Bar recently appointed him to the inaugural Education Law Certification Committee for his long and distinguished involvement in education law in Florida.
