D. Ross McCloy, Jr. is a founding partner with the Firm. His primary areas of practice are civil litigation and dispute resolution. Mr. McCloy heads the Firm’s civil litigation and dispute resolution departments.

Mr. McCloy earned his J.D. from Mercer University, where he was a Board member of the Law Review. He earned his B.A. from Davidson College.

Mr. McCloy has served as President of the Bay County Bar Association, and Chairman of the 14th Circuit Judicial Nomination Commission. He also served as a member of the Board of Governors for the Florida Bar.

Mr. McCloy is admitted to practice in Florida, Georgia, and the federal courts in the Northern District of Florida. He is a member of the Bay County Bar Association, the St. Andrews Bay American Inns of Court, the Defense Research Institute, and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. McCloy has nearly thirty years of trial experience and is Board Certified by the Florida bar in Civil Trial and Business Litigation. He is also a Florida Certified Civil Circuit Court Mediator.
