Dion J. Moniz is a partner at the Firm. His primary areas of practice are civil litigation, construction litigation, worker’s compensation law, and collections.
Mr. Moniz earned his Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law, cum laude. He earned his B.S. degree from Florida State University, cum laude. Mr. Moniz is admitted to practice in Florida, Alabama, the U.S. District Courts of the Northern District of Florida, and the Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama.
Mr. Moniz is active in the bar and the community. He currently serves as the Rotary Foundation Chair for the Panama City Downtown Rotary Club and serves on the Board of Directors for the Bay, Franklin, Gulf Healthy Start Coalition, Inc. He is a student mentor at Rosenwald Middle School, and is a member of The Florida Bar, the Alabama Bar, the American Inns of Court, the Bay County Bar Association, the Bay County Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
He has co-authored two articles on the changing law in worker’s compensation: “Worker’s Compensation Settlements, the Next Generation,” which appeared in the Florida Bar Journal, and a follow-up article: “Worker’s Compensation Settlements, the Evolution Continues.” |
